Optionally prefix formula-like CSV and TSV values (=, +, -, @) with an apostrophe. This reduces formula execution risk and changes the exported text.

Editing and converting CSV, TSV, and XLSX files happen in your browser. Your spreadsheet content is not uploaded to our web server. Normal website requests still create connection data, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Spreadsheet applications may interpret cells beginning with '=', '+', '-', or '@' as formulas. When enabled for CSV or TSV export, this option prefixes such values with an apostrophe to reduce formula execution risks. It changes the exported text, including values such as +49.

This tool works with plain cell data. It does not calculate or preserve VBA macros, dynamic formulas, charts, or original cell formatting.

Yes. You can choose which sheet to edit or export as CSV or TSV. Those text formats contain one table, so only the selected sheet is converted. XLSX export can retain multiple sheets as plain data.

Copy cells from Excel or Google Sheets and paste them into the editor with Ctrl/Cmd+V. Tab-separated values are placed into the corresponding cells.

The interactive editor limits the grid to 10,000 cells to keep it responsive. The quick converter can handle larger files, depending on your device's available memory.
